This full dinner set contains pieces made of white porcelain, marble, and glass, colored with shades of yellow, blue and silver brass. The bright and bold colors grant the Dots collection a dynamic and vibrant style.
Abstract artistic forms, that resemble an artist’s strokes on canvas, are combined with a common geometric shape, the square, inspired by the Arabic script. In Arabic calligraphy, there are several scripts, each of which uses a method of measuring letters by small squares. ‘Deewani’ script was chosen and brought to life, alongside the use of colors which represent ‘Alia’. Alia is Sheikha Hind’s mother’s name, the letters of which have been implemented in the Dots alphabet.
This unexpected combination creates an astonishing balance, while a different composition is used in every piece, giving each of them a unique character. With the Dots collection, you can have a dinner set where each piece is unique, while all of them work together as a uniform set.
